Today marks the last day of our 2015 South Korea Seminar Tour. We had a wonderful time here reconnecting with old friends and making new friends over great rolls and amazing food.
We held seminars at Osan Air Force Base, Teamposse Gangnam, and US Army Garrison Yongsan. The noticeable progress of each of Professor Kris Kim’s students’ BJJ over the past year is impressive! The team’s improvement is undoubtedly a reflection of Kris’ strong leadership and the commitment and loyalty of the students.
Congrats to all those who received promotions this week. The team is getting stronger and stronger and there is even bigger things to come in the near future.
Thanks everyone for making it out for Professor Andre Galvao’s seminar today. It was a great time and an amazing seminar where we all learned a LOT.
We had the added bonus of having Professor Andre join us to train during yesterday evening’s class at HQ in Sterling.
Thank you Professor Andre for your time, deep knowledge of the sport, and how you care about every single student of our team. It is always a pleasure and an honor!
And a huge congratulations to all those who were promoted today!
“Jiu Jitsu is a great way to learn, not just on the mat but in life. I thank God for all the blessings in my life. The BJJ mat is such a great environment to take away the stress of life. White belts, keep it up. This time of tapping out will never come back. After you know how to deal with the struggles, you will go far. Every time we try something new we will have challenges. Life is like that; it’s about learning.” – Andre Galvao, 4/11/2015 Seminar
